Since the release of his memoir, Khosla has shared his very personal story in both public and private venues. What makes Khosla’s lectures so unique, is not only his use of personal -- rather than political -- language, but his ability to succinctly and clearly explain the volumes of research behind the biology of gender identity and how understanding this research can liberate, rather than imprison, us. But most important of all there remains his willingness to reveal how his journey brought him face to face with the shadows of his own intolerance, causing him to spend as much time transforming the inside as he did the outside.
"Those of us who preach tolerance and love must first admit and confront our own intolerance so that we do not perpetuate the very thing we seek to eradicate."
